Not all works are large projects, the Bridge over the Atlantic is a structure that links the Island of Stornaway and Great Bernera, Wemo worked on the inspection or this Bridge which found that it was no longer fit for purpose, this was a disaster as it gave the only access for the residents of Bernera, Wemo also worked on the project to install the Temporary Structure that was put in place, so the residents could easily travel once again.
Can the Machine move along the bridge once deployed?
All Machines have Hydraulic Drive systems allowing them to move along the structure whilst deployed underneath.
What is the Maximum Wind Speed that the machine can be deployed in?
28 MPH
How long does it take to set the machine up?
Between 5-15 Mins depending on the complexity of the setup.
Does the Machine come with lighting?
Working lights build into the structure of the machine, there is also a 110V outlet on the deck for extra lights and small hand tools.
Does the machine use outriggers?
No, the machine does not use outriggers once on site the Trucks dumps it air and extra axles come down to enable stabilisation of the machine.
How many people can access the deck?
All machines are different but they range from 300kg to 800kg.
Do we operate the machine ourselves?
No, all machines are supplied with fully trained operators, allowing your workers to complete their tasks whilst the operator gets the where they need to be.
What areas do you operate in?
We cover all of the UK and Ireland and at a group level cover all of Europe and Scandinavia as well.
Can you come to site to offer advice?
We offer complimentary site visits anywhere in the UK ad Ireland to ensure you get the right machine for your scope of works.
